Indahl becomes DSU's Assistant to the Athletic Director

MADISON, S.D. – Dakota State University Athletic Director Jeff Dittman has announced the hiring of Jared Indahl as the Assistant to the Athletic Director.  He began his duties last week.

A native of Burke, S.D., Indahl earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology and Communication Studies from the University of South Dakota in 2010.  He most recently earned his Master's Degree in Sports Management from Georgia Southern University.

The past two years, Indahl had been interning at the University of Tennessee in athletic marketing.  He was responsible for the marketing strategies for volleyball, women's basketball and softball resulting in a No. 1 ranking for attendance in women's basketball in 2013 and 2014.

Indahl also worked for the Southeastern Conference (SEC), introducing marketing strategies and promotions at the Men's and Women's SEC Basketball Championships for the past two years.

Indahl resides in Madison.
