Cross Country - Mon, Nov. 9, 2009

Dakota State's Tyler Van Peursem was named by the Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) as Male Runner of the Week Monday.

Van Peursem captured the DAC's individual title in Rapid City, S.D. Friday.  He helped the Trojans claim their first ever DAC Men's Cross Country team title.  As a result, the Trojans earned an automatic bid as a team to the NAIA Men's Cross Country National Championship on Saturday, Nov. 21st in Vancouver, Wash.

Tyler is the son of Kevin and Shelly Van Peursem of Sioux Falls, S.D.  He is a senior Computer Security major at Dakota State University.
