“I feel fortunate that Ashton has chosen Dakota Sate,” said head coach Ken Prorok. “She is not only a great student-athlete but an even better person. Ashton is a very versatile athlete who can play several positions. I think she is a great fit for the program and we are excited to have her as a part of the “Trojan Family”.”

Lansink has been selected to the All-Conference team the past two seasons. She was named as an Iowa State player of the week during the 2008 season, and has earned 9 letters for the wolverines and was selected as team captain each of the last two seasons. In 2007, she also qualified for the Iowa State Track meet running the 400m.

Ashton, the daughter of Gary and DeeAnn, currently holds a 3.99 high school GPA and will major in Exercise Science while playing for the Trojans.
