DES MOINES, Iowa - The Dakota State University volleyball team recorded their first win of the season and suffered a sweep in the final day of the Grand View Tournament at Charlie S. Johnson Wellness Center.
Dakota State finished the tournament with a 1-3 record.
The Trojans defeated College of St. Mary (Neb.) in the first match of the day. DSU won the first two sets by the scores of 25-17 and 25-18. The Flames won the third set 25-21 before the Trojans secured the match victory with 26-24 fourth set win.
Park (Mo.) swept the Trojans in straight sets in the final match of the day. The Pirates won by the scores of 25-21, 25-22 and 25-20.

Dakota State continues their action on the road on Wednesday night as they visit Morningside College of the Great Plains Athletic Conference. First serve is slated at 7:30 p.m. at RVSC-Allee Gym in Sioux City, Iowa.
