Volleyball - Fri, Apr. 15, 2011

The Dakota State University volleyball team assisted with Homework Lab program at the Madison Elementary School for the second straight year.  They started volunteering at the Homework Lab last year.  Volunteering with Homework Lab is one of the activities the Trojan volleyball student-athletes do for the NAIA Champions of Character initiative program.

'Homework Lab' is an after school (3:10 p.m.-4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays) program for fourth and fifth grade students to get help with their school work.

The Trojan volleyball student-athletes attended a volunteer appreciation on Tuesday at the elementary school.  The volleyball student-athletes were recognized for their help with the Homework Lab.
