The Dakota State University volleyball team will begin their four-match on the road on Tuesday.
The Trojans travel to Mitchell, S.D. to take on their in-state rival Dakota Wesleyan. The non-conference match will start at 7 p.m.
Dakota State returns back to DAC conference action this weekend. The Trojans face Minot State in DSU's first conference road match of the season. First serve is slated at 7 p.m. On Saturday, DSU will make a trip to Dickinson, N.D. to take on the Blue Hawks of Dickinson State. The match time is scheduled at 4 p.m. (CT)/3 p.m. (MT).
Jamestown remains the top-ranked team in the DAC's weekly rankings. Dickinson State defeated Black Hills State in four sets on Saturday to overtake second place. Black Hills State dropped from second to third place.
On Tuesday, the Trojans will face the seventh opponent from the Great Plains Athletics Conference (GPAC). Dakota State is 4-5 against the teams in the GPAC. The Trojans earned season series with Midland Lutheran and Mount Marty. DSU suffered losses from No. 5 Northwestern (Iowa) twice, Briar Cliff, Hastings and Concordia (Neb.). Dakota Wesleyan and Dakota State will meet again for their second meeting of the season on Oct. 20 at the DSU Fieldhouse.
