After the completion of the DAC women's basketball postseason tournament Tuesday night, the DAC has announced the women's basketball All-Conference teams. Center Donna Lavea of Dakota State has been selected to DAC All-Conference third team.
Lavea averaged 13.4 points per game this season for the Trojans. She led the team in rebounds with 199 (7.1 average) and 38 blocked shots (1.4 per game).
According to DakStats statistical website as of Wednesday, March 3rd, Lavea ranks 12th in the nation in field goal percentage (53.6), 28th in offensive rebounds per game (3.2), 37th in blocks per game and 41st in total blocks.
Lavea received DAC women's basketball player of the week honor three times during the season.
Donna is the daughter of Silei Lavea of Christchurch, New Zealand. She is a senior Physical Education major at Dakota State University.
