KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The official qualifiers for the 2013 NAIA Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field National Championships have been announced by the national office on Feb. 22. The 48th annual men's and 33rd annual women's events take place Feb. 28-March 2 in Geneva, Ohio
For the third-straight year, the SPIRE Institute will serve as the host venue. There are over 130 men's and women's teams that will make the trip to Geneva. The championships begin on Feb. 28 with the men's heptathlon at 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time and the women's pentathlon at 1:30 p.m.
Seven Dakota State runners will be making an appearance in the NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships this weekend. They are Seth Boomsma (60-meter dash), Andy Coy (1000-meter run), Brooke Fritz (4 x 800-meter relay), Kayla Sveen (4 x 800-meter relay), Stephanie Uher (600-meter run and 4 x 800-meter relay), Stephanie Warnke (4 x 800-meter relay) and D'Artist Williams (60-meter dash).
