The Dakota State University women's and men's indoor track and field teams prepare for their final regular season meet on Saturday. The Trojans will participate in the Dordt Invitational at the Recreation Center in Sioux Center, Iowa.
Host school Dordt, Dakota State, Morningside, Mount Marty, South Dakota School of Mines, Briar Cliff, Dakota Wesleyan and University of Sioux Falls are expected to compete in the meet.
The field events (long jump, pole vault, weight throw and high jump) will start at approximately 9:45 a.m. The first running event begins at 10:30 a.m. with the women's 4 x 800-meter relay.
Dakota State will compete in the final Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships on Feb. 18 and 19. The conference championships will be held at the Donald E. Young Gymnasium, on the campus of Black Hills State University, in Spearfish, S.D.
