Track & Field - Tue, Dec. 7, 2010

FREMONT, Neb. - Two Dakota State University runners had qualified for NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships on Saturday.  Seniors Anthony Drealan and Devon Berkness competed in the Midland Half-Marathon, where they placed in the top three.  A total of 56 men's runners participated in the men's half-marathon, hosted by Midland University.

Drealan captured the individual title with a time of one hour, eight minutes and 36 seconds.  Berkness placed third with a time of 1:10.13.  Both Drealan and Berkness will be running in a full marathon at NAIA Nationals.

The 2011 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships will be held on May 26-28 in Marion, Ind. at the Outdoor Sports Complex.
