The Dakota State University baseball team returns home to conclude their six-game stretch at the Flynn Field. The Trojans host Mount Marty in a non-conference doubleheader on Monday (today). First game is slated to start at 3 p.m.
DSU is 3-29 overall record and 1-13 in the Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC). Dakota State suffered a sweep from Dickinson State in Rapid City, S.D. on April 23. The Trojans lost 5-3 and 12-0 to the Blue Hawks.
Mount Marty is 16-21 overall and 9-9 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). The Lancers took two games from Briar Cliff on April 25 in Yankton, S.D.
Mount Marty and Dakota State met on March 24 in Yankton for their last meeting. The Lancers won the first game of the doubleheader 3-0. DSU came back in the second game and defeated Mount Marty 6-1.
Dakota State concludes their six-game home stand this weekend (Saturday and Sunday). The Trojans host Jamestown in both teams' final four-game DAC series of the season. The DAC Baseball Postseason Tournament will be held in Dickinson, N.D. on May 4-8.
