SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced Friday that 391 volleyball student-athletes have been named 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes. Two Dakota State University volleyball student-athletes – Stacey Schuller and Michele Rogers – were named to this prestigious honor.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
Stacey is the daughter of Tom and Deb Schuller of Jackson, Minn. She is a junior Elementary Education/Special Education major at Dakota State University.
Michelle is the daughter of Dean and Barb Rogers of Aberdeen, S.D. She is junior academically, studying Biology at DSU.
