MADISON, S.D. – The Dakota State University baseball team had made changes to their season opener schedule.  The Trojans are now set to play Oklahoma Panhandle State in three-game series baseball season opener for DSU on Feb. 16-17.

Dakota State was originally scheduled to play five games in Topeka, Kan. on Feb. 15 through Feb. 17 versus Northwestern (Iowa), Ashford (Iowa) (2 games) and University of Winnipeg (Canada (2 games).  Those games had been canceled. 

DSU and Oklahoma Panhandle State will play a doubleheader on Feb. 16, starting with a 9-inning game at 1 p.m., followed by a 7-inning game in game two of the three-game series.  Game three is set for Monday, Feb. 17 at 11 a.m.  The three-game series will be held at the Aggie Baseball Field in Goodwell, Okla.
