MADISON, S.D. – The Dakota State University Lady T's basketball head coach Jeff Dittman is pleased to announce the signing of Madison Walford.  She will join the Lady T's basketball this upcoming 2014-15 academic season.

Walford, a six-foot-one-inch forward from Devils Lake High School in North Dakota, averaged 18.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game.  She was coached by Justin Klein.

While her senior season is incomplete, Madison was named to the All-Conference team as a junior and was selected her team's Most Valuable Player.  Walford led the team in both scoring and rebounding last year.

Walford is a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council.  She will graduate from Devils Lake High School this spring.

Madison is the daughter of Ron Walford and Russ and Nicole Claussen.  She plans to study Exercise Science at Dakota State University in preparation for a post-graduate degree in Physical Therapy.
