MADISON, S.D. – The location for the North Star Athletic Association baseball conference season opener this weekend between Mayville State (N.D.) and Dakota State (S.D.) had been changed again.
The four-game series between the Comets and the Trojans were originally scheduled to play at the Flynn Field in Madison, S.D., but had been forced to be moved to Lennox, S.D. due to poor playing field conditions. Due to the recent snowfall, the series was forced to relocate to Wayne, Neb.
The doubleheader kicks off at 1 p.m. on Saturday and continues with another doubleheader on Sunday at 12 p.m. The four-game series take place in the City of Wayne's baseball field.
