MADISON, S.D. – Dakota State University men's basketball head coach Gary Garner is excited to announce the letter-of-intent signing of Latrell LaRoche.

LaRoche graduated from Lower Brule High School where was named to the team's most valuable player.  He was selected to play in the South Dakota All-Star Boys' Basketball and Great Plains Senior All-Star games. 

In 2011-12 season, LaRoche participated in the Las Vegas Recruiting Showcase 'Top 20' game.  He also was named to second team All-Tournament in the Jones County Invitational tournament.  LaRoche was selected as the most valuable player defense in the Pacesetters Summer Basketball in 2011.
