MADISON, S.D. – Dakota State University volleyball head coach Amy Veenhof is proud to announce the signing of Carly Rozell from Warner High School.  She will continue her education and volleyball career at Dakota State University this coming 2014-15 academic year.

Rozell, a 6-foot-1 right side hitter and middle blocker, is a two-time State Class 'B' All-Tournament Team selection.  She was also a two-time Lake Region All-Conference and All-Area selection.  She was a member of the Warner volleyball team that won two consecutive State Class 'B' Tournaments. 

Rozell registered a total of 268 kills, 3.0 kills per game, .398 killing efficiency, 88 service aces, 1.0 service aces per game, 94 digs and 45 total blocks during her senior season.  During her stellar volleyball career, she accumulated 535 kills (2.5 kills per game), 202 service aces (1.1 aces per game), 162 digs and 93 total blocks.  She recorded a career hitting percentage of .364.

Rozell also lettered in basketball where she was a two-time All-Conference and All-Area pick.  She is listed on the Honor Roll for her academic success in the classroom.

Carly is the daughter of Paul and Brenda Rozell of Aberdeen, S.D.  She plans to major in Elementary Education at Dakota State University.
