During her first two collegiate career at North Iowa Area Community College, Lindell was named to NJCAA Region IX Honorable Mention.  She set the school record for most hit-by-pitch in a single season.  She was a two-time All-Academic All-Region First Team and was named to National Fastpitch Coaches' Association NJCAA All-American Scholar-Athlete.  She was a member of Phil Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Harley is the daughter of Tom and Janell Lindell of Ringsted, Iowa.
