MADISON, S.D. – Three Dakota State University baseball seniors were named to 2015 North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Baseball All-Conference Honorable Mention.  They are Jordan Entrikin, Nick Serrata and Bryant Westra.

Entrikin, 6-foot first baseman and catcher for the Trojans, had a season-high 16-game hitting streak and finished the season with at least a hit 16 times in the last 17 games.  For the season (50 games), he posted a batting average of .265 by collecting 43 hits in 162 plate appearances.  Entrikin drove in 35 runs (RBIs), which is the second-leading RBIs for Dakota State.  He also had six doubles and three home runs (slugging percentage of .358).

Entrikin accumulated a total of 288 put-outs, 33 assists and just committed six defensive errors for a fielding percentage of .982 for DSU. 

Jordan is the son of Matt and Mary Entrikin of Milwaukie, Ore.  He is a General Studies major at DSU.

Serrata, 6-foot infielder for Dakota State, is the second-leading batting average on the team with a .317 batting average.  In 45 games this season, he tallied 45 hits in 142 at-bats and recorded five doubles with .352 slugging percentage. 

Serrata posted an on-base percentage of .384 this season for the Trojans.  He had 11 multi-hit games, including a season-high five hits versus Presentation (S.D.) on April 25 at Flynn Field.

Nick is the son of Edward and Gina Serrata of San Mateo, Calif.  He is a Business Management at Dakota State University.

Westra, 6-foot-3 pitcher for DSU, leads the team in the earned runs average (ERA).  In 61 innings pitched this season (he pitched in 17 games, started 8 times), he posted an ERA of 4.28 with 32 runs allowed (three unearned runs).  He gave up 67 hits and issued 18 walks this season for the Trojans. 

Westra tossed five complete games, earned two victories and recorded a save for DSU.  He held its opponents' batting average of .288 and struck out 28 total batters.

Bryant is the son of Daniel and Valerie Westra of Muskegon, Mich.  He is an Exercise Science major at Dakota State University.'
