Cross Country - Mon, Nov. 8, 2010

The Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) has selected Dakota State's Devon Berkness as male runner of the week.  It was his second time this season that Berkness has earned this honor.

Berkness, a senior from Madison, S.D., captured the DAC individual championship in leading his team to a runner-up finish at the DAC Cross Country meet in Jamestown, N.D.  He completed the 8K race in 26 minutes and 20 seconds.  As a result, Berkness earned DAC All-Conference honor and qualified for NAIA Cross Country National Championships on Nov. 20 in Vancouver, Wash.

Devon is the son of Bob and Marlys Mildenberg.  He is a Web Design major at Dakota State University.
