DICKINSON, N.D. – Dakota State (S.D.) scored 110 points for a fourth-place finish at the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Cross Country Championships Saturday at Heart River Golf Course, hosted by Dickinson State (N.D.).  The women's 5K race featured a total of 41 runners.

Dickinson State won the team title for the second straight year, totaling a low score of 27 points.  Jamestown (N.D.) was second with 48 points, followed by Viterbo (Wis.) third with 55 points.  Waldorf (Iowa) was fifth with 118 points and Valley City State (N.D.) sixth with 155 points.

Amanda Wolff of Dickinson State won the individual title with a time of 19 minutes, 48 seconds.

Trojan Karen Mayfield earned her second consecutive NSAA Women's Cross Country All-Conference honor after placing in the 'Top 10'.  She posted a time of 20 minutes, 47 seconds for a tenth-place finish in her final collegiate career cross country meet.

Ashley Robinson earned an 18th-place finish with a time of 22 minutes, 12 seconds for Dakota State.  Victoria Sopko finished 23rd in 23:12, followed by Tyra Laws with a 28th-place finish in 24:29.  Mercedes Jochims was 35th with a time of 27 minutes, 25 seconds.

The North Star Athletic Association Cross Country Championship meet officially ended Dakota State's cross country season.
