The Dakota Athletic Conference men's and women's cross country weekly rankings were announced last Monday. The Trojan men's team ranks second while the women's team remains in sixth place.
DSU men's runners placed 11th out of 28 teams in the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 25. DSU ranks No. 30 in the latest NAIA Men's Cross Country National Poll and received 68 votes.
Black Hills State moved in the top spot in the DAC conference weekly rankings. The Yellow Jackets placed ninth in the Roy Griak meet. South Dakota School of Mines is third, followed by Minot State fourth, Jamestown fifth, Valley City State sixth and Dickinson State seventh.
On the women's side, Black Hills State remains first in the weekly rankings. Minot State ranks second, followed by Jamestown third, South Dakota School of Mines fourth, Dickinson State fifth, Dakota State sixth and Valley City State seventh.
The Trojans will be idle this week. DSU runners will return back to action on Oct. 9 as they compete in the Briar Cliff Invitational.
