Cross Country - Mon, Sep. 27, 2010

Devon Berkness of Dakota State was chosen by the Dakota Athletic Conference as male cross country runner of the week for the week of September 20-26.

Berkness, a native of Madison, S.D., placed 25th out of 334 runners in the Maroon Division II that includes schools from NCAA Division II and top quality schools in the NAIA at the Roy Griak Invitational Saturday.  He was the top DAC's runner in the meet with a time of 26 minutes and 32 seconds.

The Trojans placed 11th out of 28 teams with 326 points.

Devon is the son of Bob and Marlys Mildenberg.  He is a Web Design major at Dakota State University.
