MADISON, S.D. Anthony Drealan, Dakota State University (S.D.) head cross country and track & field, is proud to announce the national letter-of-intent signings of Jacia Christiansen of Viborg-Hurley High School.  She will graduate this spring and continue their running career and education at DSU this fall.

Christiansen finished 22nd at the 2015 and 2016 South Dakota High School Class 'B' State Cross Country Championships for Viborg-Hurley.  She recorded personal best times of 2 minutes, 44.60 seconds in the 800-meter run; 6 minutes, 5.40 seconds in the 1600-meter run; 13 minutes, 23.40 seconds in the 3200-meter run and 20 minutes, 19 seconds in the 5K race.

She will run in both cross country and track & field as long-distance runner at Dakota State next season.

Jacia is the daughter of Rob and Anne Christiansen of Viborg, S.D.  She plans to major in Accounting at Dakota State University.
