Women's Cross Country - Tue, Jan. 31, 2017

MADISON, S.D. Anthony Drealan, Dakota State University (S.D.) head cross country and track & field coach, is excited to announce the signing of Kirsten Paetow of Viborg-Hurley High School.  She will graduate from high school this spring and continue her running career and education at Dakota State this fall.

Paetow finished sixth in the 400-meters, fourth in 4 x 100- and 4 x 200-meters relays at the 2016 South Dakota High School Class 'B' State Track & Field Championships.  She produced personal best times of 26.90 seconds in the 200-meter dash; 1 minute, 1.40 seconds in the 400-meter dash and 21 minutes, 11 seconds in the 5K run.

She will run in both women's cross country and women's track & field at Dakota State next fall.

Kirsten is the daughter of Mike and Nicole Paetow of Hurley, S.D.  She plans to major in Elementary Education at Dakota State University.
