· The Dakota State University (S.D.) Lady T's basketball team (8-19 overall record, 5-9 NSAA) concludes their four-game home stand with a pair of North Star Athletic Association conference games this weekend in Madison, S.D.

· The Lady T's host Bellevue (Neb.) (14-14 overall record, 7-7 NSAA) Friday evening, tipping off at 5:30 p.m. at DSU Fieldhouse.  'Black-Out Night' is the theme for the game to help raise Cancer Awareness.  Madison Regional Health Systems is the Game Sponsor Night.

· The regular-season schedule concludes on Saturday afternoon as DSU hosts Mayville State (N.D.) (15-11, 8-7 NSAA).  The game is set for 3 p.m. at DSU Fieldhouse.

· After the completion of the game on Saturday, the Lady T's will be honoring BreeAna Olson in her final career regular-season collegiate basketball game at DSU Fieldhouse.

· The North Star Athletic Association Women's Basketball Conference Postseason Tournament pairings and times will be announced on Sunday afternoon.  The postseason kicks off on Wednesday, Feb. 22.


· Dakota State (S.D.) will provide a free live video and audio broadcast of the Lady T's basketball games on Friday and Saturday.

· After falling behind by 11 points to No. 21-ranked Dickinson State (N.D.) on Feb. 10, Dakota State (S.D.) pulled in within two points by halftime (DiSU led 31-29).

· The Blue Hawks pulled away in the final 10 minutes of the game for a 70-59 victory over the Lady T's, outscoring DaSU 22-14 in the fourth period.

· Kennedy Wagner led the Lady T's with 14 points.  Jamie Tebben scored 13 points off the bench.  Cassie Jones tallied 10 points.

· BreeAna Olson pulled down seven rebounds for DSU.  Tebben added six rebounds. Wagner had five rebounds.

· Shemika Frazier dished out a game-high seven assists for Daktoa State.  She also had two steals in the game.

· Both team struggled from the field, shooting below 40 percent.  Dickinson State was 25-of-64 from the field (39.1 percent) compared to Dakota State 22-of-58 field goals (37.9 percent).

· The Lady T's bench outscored DiSU's bench 24-9.  DiSU outrebounded DaSU 43-37.

· Dakota State held a 30-27 halftime advantage over Valley City State (N.D.) on Feb. 11.  The Vikings outscored the Lady T's 21-11 in the third quarter, escaping to a 69-59 victory.

· DSU led the entire first period with VCSU tying the game three times.   There were a total of seven ties and four lead changes in the first-half.

· Wagner led the Lady T's with 18 points.  Jones added 14 points.  Britley Plautz posted a double-double of 12 points and pulled down 12 rebounds.

· VCSU shot 36.8 percent overall from the field (21-of-57) compared to DSU 30.3 percent (20-of-66).  The Vikings went 7-of-16 3-pointers (41.2 percent, while the Lady T's were 3-of-12 from the 3-point arc.

· The Lady T's outscored the Vikings 24-22 inside the paint and 16-6 in bench points.

· A total of 11 lead changes and 9 ties were registered in the game.


· The Dakota State University (S.D.) Lady T's basketball team will be honoring their only senior this season, BreeAna Olson, on Saturday after the completion of the game.

· Olson have a stellar 4-year career at Dakota State.  Prior to this weekend's games, she had played total of 119 games at DSU.

· She scored a total of 1,400 points during her career, ranking her No. 5 in all-time scoring list in the Lady T's Basketball record book.  She needs four more points to surpass Kylie Westover (1,403 career points) for the fourth-most career points at DSU.

· Olson also is third in the DSU Lady T's Basketball record book for most career steals with 274.  Julie Heinz (1983-87) is second with 282 career steals.

· Olson is fifth in the record book for most field goals made with 518.


· According to the DakStats-NAIA statistical website, Dakota State (S.D.) ranks second in the nation in total blocks with 132.  Britley Plautz is also second in total blocks with 59, seventh most single-season blocks in the DSU Lady T's basketball record book.

· Kennedy Wagner ranks 13th in the NAIA Division II in free-throw percentage of 85.9 percent.  She made 79 free-throws in 92 attempts.  BreeAna Olson is 40th with a 79.8 free-throw percentage.  As a team, DSU ranks 31st in the nation in free-throw percentage of 72 percent.

· Olson ranks 24th in the nation in total steals with 65.  She averages 2.4 steals per game (38th in the nation).

· DSU's defense held its opponents to 37.8 field goal percentage (47th-best in the NAIA D-II).


· Points:  BreeAna Olson—15.1 points per game (407 total points-49th in the nation)

· Field Goal Percentage:  Britley Plautz—45.3 percent (67-of-148 field goals)

· 3-point Field Goal Percentage:  Lindsey Vogl—43.9 percent (25-of-57 3-point field goals)

· Free-throw percentage:  Kennedy Wagner—85.9 percent—13th in the nation (79-of-92 free-throws)

· Rebounds:  Britley Plautz—182 rebounds (6.7 rebounds per game)

· Assists:  Kennedy Wagner—72 assists (2.8 assists per game)

· Steals:  BreeAna Olson—65 steals (2.4 steals per game—38th in the nation)

· Blocked shots:  Britley Plautz—59 blocked shots—2nd in the nation (2.2 blocked shots per game)


· The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Women's Basketball Postseason Conference kicks off on Wednesday, Feb. 22 with four quarterfinal games.

· The pairings will be announced on Sunday afternoon.

· Semifinals are set for Friday evening at higher seeds, with the championship game scheduled for Sunday at highest remaining seed.
