MADISON, S.D. – Five Dakota State University (S.D.) Lady T's are listed in the school record book, led by BreeAna Olson who is listed on 11 different categories.

Olson, a two-time North Star Athletic Association Women's Basketball Second Team All-Conference recipient, concluded her stellar four-year career with as a third-best all-time scorer with 1,442 points from 2013-17.  She scored 281 points during her freshman year and increased her scoring in each year with 340 points in her sophomore season, 372 points in her junior season and 449 points in her senior year.

Olson's 449 points is the third-most points in Lady T's Basketball single-season record.

She also racked up the second-most career steals with 287 at Dakota State.  Jessica VanLoy holds the school record with 314 steals from 2004-08.  Olson finished the 2016-17 season with the 21st-most steals in the NAIA Division II with 78 steals (10th most steals in a single-season in DSU Lady T's basketball record book), as well as 20th-best in steals per game with an average of 2.6 steals per game.

Olson stole the ball eight times versus Mayville State (N.D.) on Feb. 18.  Her eight steals tied for fourth-most steals in a single game with three other former Lady T's – Michelle Butash, Kari Satter and Julie Heinz.

Olson made a total of 531 field goals during her impressive four-year career at DSU.  Her 531 field goals made is the fourth most career field goals made in the Lady T's school record book.

She made 293 career free-throws, which is the third-most free-throws made in Dakota State Lady T's record book.  Olson made 91 free-throws this past winter season, tying for 10th-most free-throws made in a single-season with Krista Peterson from 1998-99. 

Olson was 10th-best free-throw percentage from the 2016-17 season, converting 91 free-throws in 111 attempts for a percentage of 82.0 percent.  Her free-throw percentage marked the 22nd-best free-throw percentage in the NAIA Division II.

She made 12 free-throws in Lady T's victory over Viterbo (Wis.) on Dec. 17, 2016 at DSU Fieldhouse.  Her 12 free-throws tied for fifth-most free-throws made in a single-game with four other former Lady T's (Paula Feterl twice; Amy Balk and Laura Tewes).

Olson drained a total of six 3-pointers in a game at Bellevue (Neb.) on Jan. 14, tying her for eighth-most 3-pointers made in a single-season with four other former players (Kathy Shypulski – 3 times; Kylie Westover – 4 times; Heidi Honermann – 2 times and Renae Bottum).

Britley Plautz piled up a total of 64 blocks during the 2016-17 season for the Lady T's.  Her 64 blocks is the sixth-most single-season blocks in the record book, tying with Sharee Galbraith in 2014-15.  Plautz's 64 blocks also ranks her 10th-most career blocks in the Lady T's Basketball record book.  Plautz finished the 2016-17 season with the fifth-most blocks in the NAIA Division II and sixth-most blocks per game with 2.1 blocks average.

Kennedy Wagner is currently second in the DSU Lady T's basketball record book for career free-throw percentage.  She made 189 free-throws in 240 attempts since 2014-15 season, recording a career free-throw percentage of 78.8 percent.  Shypulski holds the career free-throw percentage school record of 79.7 percent (208 free-throws in 261 attempts) from 1997-2001.

Wagner also ranks as the second-best free-throw percentage in the school record book.  She converted 82 free-throws in 95 attempts during the 2016-17 season.  She finished as the ninth best free-throw shooter in the NAIA Division II.

Wagner tied with three other former Lady T's (Angela Carr, Jill Hansen and Shypulski) in the single-game 3-point field goal percentage of 83.3 percent.  She made 5-of-6 3-pointers versus Presentation (S.D.) on Jan. 21.

Lindsey Vogl finished as the seventh-best single-season 3-point field goal percentage in the Lady T's Basketball record book.  She made 29 3-pointers in 69 attempts (42 percent).

Kelley Criddle was tied for fourth-best field goal percentage in a single-game in the record book with two other former players (Hansen and Sheila Haack).  Criddle was perfect from the field, making 8-of-8 field goals versus Presentation on Jan. 21. 

Head Coach Jeff Dittman increased his wins total as Dakota State Lady T's Basketball Head Coach, recording 296 victories.  His 296 victories are the most wins by any Lady T's Basketball Head Coach in program history.
