MADISON, S.D. – Dakota State University (S.D.) Trojan Volleyball Head Coach Amy Veenhof is excited to announce the addition of Jaclyn Bludorn from Summit High School. She will graduate from high school this spring and continue her volleyball and education career at DSU this coming fall.
Bludorn – 6-foot right side – was a two-time All-Conference, two-time Team Captain and four-year starter for Waubay/Summit High School. She was also honored as the Rising Eagle and Most Improved. She was awarded for best passer and most blocks on the team.
Bludorn accumulated 644 kills, 545 digs, 282 blocks, 195 service aces and 47 set assists during her four-year career at Waubay/Summit High School. She registered 225 kills, 286 digs, 64 blocks and 52 service aces during her senior year. She was also a member of the Northeast South Dakota Junior Olympic volleyball club.
Bludorn also lettered in cross country, basketball and golf during her high school career.
She was named to the Honor Roll of Excellence four times and also a member of the National Honor Society.
Jaclyn is the daughter of Jerry and Tammie Bludorn of Webster, S.D. She plans to major in Cyber Operations at Dakota State University.
