MADISON, S.D. – Dakota State (S.D.) played their third doubleheader in three straight days Monday evening at Thue Softball Complex.  The Trojans hosted in-state rival Mount Marty (S.D.) in the 'Strike-Out' for Cancer softball doubleheader, where DSU wore pink uniforms and socks to help raise cancer awareness.  Mount Marty swept Dakota State, including a 1-0 10-inning affair in the first game and 13-4 in five innings in the second game.

Dakota State fell to 14-35 overall record.  Mount Marty improved to 17-20 overall record.

The Trojans conclude their eight-game home stand Thursday evening with a doubleheader versus Dordt (Iowa).  The first game is slated for 5 p.m. at Thue Softball Complex.
