Cross Country - Wed, Nov. 4, 2009

The Dakota State University men's cross country team remained in eighth edition of NAIA Men's Cross Country "Top 25" poll, released Wednesday.  The Trojans are tied with Oklahoma Baptist at No. 20 spot with 255 votes.

Both Trojan men's and women's runners were idle last week.  The men's cross country team is second and the women's fourth in the DAC's weekly rankings, released Monday.

Dakota State will prepare for the DAC Championship Meet on Friday, Nov. 6th in Rapid City, S.D.  The winner of the meet on Friday will earn an automatic bid as a team to the NAIA Cross Country National Championships in Vancouver, Wash. on Saturday, Nov. 21st.

The NAIA Cross Country "Top 25" poll is used to determine the at-large team bids for NAIA Nationals.
