Cross Country - Thu, Oct. 22, 2009

The Dakota State University cross country teams received votes to the NAIA National Cross Country Poll released Wednesday, Oct. 21.  Both men's and women's are second in the weekly DAC conference rankings behind Black Hills State.

The Trojan men's runners remained at No. 19 for the second straight week.  The men's team received 247 votes.  The women's team received 29 votes to the NAIA national poll.

DSU was idle last week.  The Trojans will be preparing for their final regular season meet on Saturday, Oct. 24.  They will travel to Yankton, S.D. to participate in the Mount Marty Invitational.  The women's race will start at approximately 9:45 a.m. with the men's to follow.

The DAC Championships meet will be held on Friday, Nov. 6 in Rapid City, S.D., hosted by South Dakota School of Mines.
