FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. – Dakota State (S.D.) returned back to cross country action Saturday morning at the 32nd Annual Roy Griak Invitational, hosted by NCAA Division I University of Minnesota at Les Bolstad Golf Course.  The Trojan women's cross country team finished 40th overall as a team, featuring numerous collegiate levels up to NCAA Division II schools.  DSU scored 1,181 points in the 6K women's race.

Over 380 runners competed in the Women's Maroon Division II race.

Jacia Christiansen led Dakota State with a 195th place finish after recording a time of 26 minutes, 9 seconds.  Andrea Bryant registered a clock of 27 minutes, 39 seconds to place 278th.  Kirsten Paetow was 332nd (29 minutes, 32 seconds.

Mallory Aughenbaugh recorded a time of 31 minutes, 4 seconds to finish 352nd for the Trojans.  Lyndsay Pruss was 374th in 35 minutes.

Dakota State will take a week off before resuming back to action on Saturday, Oct. 7.  DSU runs in the Briar Cliff (Iowa) Invitational at Adams Nature Preserve in McCook Lake, S.D.  The women's 5K race is set to kick off at 10 a.m.
