FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. – Dakota State (S.D.) men's cross country team resumed back to action Saturday morning in a packed Men's Maroon Division II 8K race at the 32nd Annual Roy Griak Invitational.  Over 440 runners completed the race that featured numerous collegiate school levels up to NCAA Division II at Les Bolstad Golf Course, hosted by NCAA Division I University of Minnesota.

The cross country meet did not have Dakota State listed as a team score as their five runners completed the race.  There was a malfunction timing at the finish line, therefore the results are unofficial.  Jonathan Lein completed the race but did not list the official time.

Matthew Dunn led the Trojans with a time of 30 minutes, 23 seconds for a 322nd place finish.  Maxwell Cruse followed up with a 344th place finish after clocking a time of 30 minutes, 44 seconds.

Marlowe LaRoche recorded a new personal best time of 31 minutes, 33 seconds to place 371st for DSU.  Mattheu Cox registered a time of 36 minutes, 14 seconds to earn 427th place.

Dakota State takes a week off before returning back to action on Saturday, Oct. 7.  The Trojans run in the Briar Cliff (Iowa) Invitational at Adams Preserve Nature in McCook Lake, S.D.  The men's 8K race is slated to start at 10:45 a.m.
