Cross Country - Wed, Sep. 23, 2009

September 23, 2009

For the second straight week, the DAC's Cross Country weekly rankings had remained unchanged.  The Trojan men's runners remained second while the women's team stayed in third.

The weekly rankings are being used to determine the NAIA Cross Country Top 25 national ranking poll.  Both Dakota State men's and women's received votes to the NAIA Top 25 rankings.

Dakota State swept the Herb Blakely Invitational team titles last Saturday at the Madison Country Club.

On Saturday, Sept. 26, the Trojans will travel to St. Paul, Minn.  The Trojans will be running in the tough field of the Roy Griak Invitational, hosted by University of Minnesota.  The women's race is slated for 9:45 a.m. with the men's race to follow.
