McCOOK LAKE, S.D. – Two Dakota State (S.D.) women's cross country runners posted personal-best 5K times Saturday morning at the Briar Cliff (Iowa) Invitational at Adams Nature Preserve.  The Trojans finished 10th as a team with 285 points, finishing ahead of NCAA Division II Sioux Falls (S.D.) and Mount Marty (S.D.).

Dordt (Iowa) won the team title with 60 points.  Katie Bosch of Northwestern (Iowa) won the individual title with a time of 18 minutes, 45 seconds.  The women's division saw a total of 162 runners completed the race.

Jacia Christiansen led the Trojans with her personal-best time of 20 minutes, 51 seconds for a 38th-place finish.  Andrea Bryant also clocked her personal-record time of 21 minutes, 34 seconds to earn 57th-place.

Ashley Robinson recorded a time of 22 minutes, 17 seconds to place 81st for DSU.  Kirsten Paetow ran a time of 23 minutes, 5 seconds to gain a 100th-place finish.  Mallory Aughenbaugh posted a time of 23 minutes, 34 seconds to finish 116th. 

Lyndsay Pruss was 149th in 26 minutes, 52 seconds for the Trojans.  Mercedes Jochims added a 157th-place finish after registering a time of 28 minutes, 31 seconds.

Dakota State heads to Yankton, S.D. for the regular-season finale on Saturday, Oct. 21.  The Trojans compete in the Mount Marty (S.D.) Invitational at Human Services (located on highways 81 and 50).
