Cross Country - Tue, Oct. 28, 2008


(Madison, SD) - Dakota State's women's cross country team remained third, as the Trojan men's moved from fourth to third in the eighth weekly DAC Conference rankings.

Dakota State competed in the Graphic Edge Invitational that featured all DAC schools and strong GPAC teams.  There was 15 teams in the meet and the Trojan women's finished 9th, men's 7th.

The top four teams in the women's division remained unchanged, as South Dakota School of Mines moved up to fifth place and Dickinson State dropped to sixth.  In the men's division, the top three remains the same as the Trojans moved from fourth to third place.  South Dakota School of Mines is fourth, Minot State fifth, and Jamestown sixth.

The Trojans will have a week off before their DAC Championship Meet at the Madison Country Club.  The DAC Championship Meet will be on Saturday, November 8th with the women's race starting at 11:00 am, men's to follow.
