Cross Country - Mon, Sep. 29, 2008

(Madison, SD) - The Dakota Athletic Conference has selected Trojans' junior Anthony Drealan as DAC's Male Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Drealan, native of Fulda, MN, finished fifth out of 111 runners at the Dakota State/Herb Blakley Invitational last Saturday, September 27th in Madison, SD.  He finished the 8000 course in 26:20.22 to help his team to a sixth place finish out of 14 teams.  Drealan was the top NAIA runner in the meet.

Anthony is the son of Wayne and Heidi Drealan of Fulda, MN and plans to major in Computer Education at Dakota State University.

Up next for the Trojans' cross country teams is the South Dakota State Classic in Brookings, SD on Saturday, October 4th.  The women's race begins at 11:00 am with the men's to follow.
