MADISON, S.D. – Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) announced its Corn Palace Classic All-Tournament Team Wednesday afternoon.  Kylie Martin of Dakota State (S.D.) was selected to the team.

Martin, 5-foot-9-inch freshman middle blocker/outside hitter, accumulated a total of 40 kills during the two-day Corn Palace Classic (four matches).  She averaged 2.7 kills per set and recorded a hitting efficiency of .287.  Martin had a solo block and seven block assists.

Dakota State went 2-2 in the Corn Palace Classic, defeating York (Neb.) and host-team DWU.

Kylie is the daughter of Doug and Janet Martin of Dakota Dunes, S.D.  She is a graduate of Dakota Valley High School and plans to major in Exercise Science at Dakota State University.

Dakota State hit the road tonight (Wednesday) as they visit their in-state rival Mount Marty (S.D.).  The junior varsity match is scheduled for 6 p.m., followed by the varsity match at 7:30 p.m. at the Cimpl Arena in Yankton.
