The Trojans qualified for the NAIA national tournament after capturing the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Division II Men's Basketball Conference Tournament in Jamestown, N.D. on Feb. 22-24. DSU defeated Northern New Mexico, Valley City State (N.D.) and Jamestown (N.D.) to claim their second straight conference tournament champion (DSU won the conference tournament last year in Madison).
