MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Dakota State softball team extended their winning streak to five games Thursday morning after defeating Bluefield (Va.) 10-3 in the first game of the Snowbird Tournament.  Eastern (Pa.) halted Trojans' winning streak in the second game of the day by the score of 9-6.

Dakota State is currently 6-2 on the season.  The Trojans take a day off on Friday.

DSU continues their 12-game schedule in the Snowbird Tournament on Saturday morning.  The Trojans play St. Joseph's College of New York in a doubleheader.  First game is slated to start at 9 a.m.
