The Dakota State University softball team returns home for their final four games of the season. The Trojans host Jamestown College in their final Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) four-game series at Thue Softball Complex. The doubleheader will start at 1 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. on Sunday.
Dakota State is 13-20 overall record and 1-13 in the DAC Conference. The Trojans earned a split with Black Hills State at Thue (won game one 10-1 and lost game two 6-2) on April 25. DSU went to Mount Marty on April 28 and earned a split with the Lancers, losing the first game 6-5 and winning the second game 9-3.
Jamestown is currently on a six-game losing streak. The Jimmies began their 10-game stretch on the road in five straight days. Jamestown suffered a sweep at Valley City State on April 27 (9-1 and 6-2) and at Dickinson State on April 28 (3-2 in 10 innings and 1-0). Jamestown dropped a pair of non-conference games at University of North Dakota on April 29 (5-1 and 3-1). The Jimmies are 14-30 overall and 6-12 in the conference.

Sarah Jones will be the lone senior on the Trojan softball team. She will be playing in the DSU's final home games of her collegiate career this weekend.
The DAC Softball Postseason Tournament will be held on May 6-7, 2011 in Minot, N.D.
