The Dakota State University softball team continues their Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) action on Saturday. The Trojans face Dickinson State in a doubleheader at the Parkview Softball Complex in Rapid City, S.D. First game is slated to start at 1:30 p.m. It was originally scheduled to play in Dickinson, N.D., but the wet weather forced to move their games.
Dakota State is 11-16 overall record and 0-10 in the DAC conference. The Trojans lost to Minot State 8-3 and 1-0 in Spearfish, S.D. on April 16.
Dickinson State is 16-10 overall and 6-2 in the conference. The Blue Hawks are ranked No. 21 in the latest NAIA Softball National poll. Dickinson State is currently on a five-game winning streak, including a two-game sweep over Jamestown (8-4 and 6-0) on April 16.
Dickinson State won all four meetings from Dakota State last year in Madison, S.D. on May 1-2, 2010.
