David Moe Image

David Moe is entering his first season as Dakota State University (S.D.) Lady T's basketball head coach.  He is coming to DSU from Mayville State (N.D.), where he has been the assistant women's basketball coach for the last ten years.

He has helped lead the Comets to multiple trips to the NAIA Division II Women's Basketball National Tournament and 'Top 20' national rankings.  Moe helped recruit All-American, All-Conference and All-Academic athletes on the Mayville State women's basketball team. 

His responsibilities with the Comets included recruiting coordinator, opponents' scouting and game preparations, skill development with perimeter players and summer camps.

Moe is originally from Barnesville, Minn. and graduated from Mayville State in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Sports Management.  Along with coaching at Mayville State, he has also been an Instructor in the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Division.

He received his Master of Science in Recreation and Sports Sciences from Ohio University in 2015.

David and his wife Sheena have three daughters - Kinsley (5), Jocey (3) and Addi (7 months).  They reside in Madison.
