High School:  Competed on State Champions Cross Country team his senior season.  Ran a leg on the 4 x 800 relay that finished runner-up at the Howard Wood Relays and went on to win the state title in 2008.  Had a personal best of 2:08 (800-meters).

Freshman:  Redshirted in cross country.  Indoors competed in the 600 meters and posted a season best 1:31.52.  Ran a 2:03 split in the 4 x 800 relay that finished runner-up at the Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships.  Posted a 5-second personal best when ran 2:03.12 (800-meters) at the Sioux City Relays.

Sophomore:   Ran a personal best 29:56 at the Briar Cliff Invitational.  Member of the 2009 DAC Cross Country Championship team.  Was a member of the 2nd place 4 x 800 and 4 x 400 at the 2010 DAC Indoor Track and Field Conference Championships.  Member of the 2010 DAC Indoor Track Conference runner-up team.  Ran a personal best in the 400- and 800-meters at Sioux City Relays with marks of 52.62 seconds and 2:00.80, respectively.  Was a member of the winning 4 x 800-meter relay team at the 2010 DAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, receiving an All-Conference honor.

Junior:  Member of the 2010 DAC Cross Country Championships runner-up team.  Opened the season with a 600-meter personal best of 1:28.05 at the Dordt Invitational.  Ran a personal best time of 1:59.16 at the Iowa State Open.  Redshirted the outdoor track and field season.

Senior:  Redshirted the indoor track and field season.  Opened the outdoor track and field season coming off an injury with a near personal best of 52.85 seconds in the 400-meters at the Wayne State Wildcat Classic.  Was a member of the distance medley relay team that placed seventh at the 2012 Drake Relays that ran 10:07.23, the second fastest outdoor time in DSU school history, and also split 1:58 on his 800-meter leg.  Ran a new personal best of 1:59.16 at the the University of Sioux Falls Relays.
