Freshman/Sophomore: Qualified for multiple junior college championships as a member of the Gillette Community College cross country and track and field teams in Gillette, Wyo. with personal bests of 9:25 in the 3K, 15:56 in the 5K, 27:47 in the 8K and 33:10 in the 10K.
Junior: Placed ninth at the DSU Herb Blakely Invitational. Ran a personal best of 26:11 at the Briar Cliff Invitational. Placed 276th at the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Cross Country Championships. Opened the season with a third place finish and personal best in the 3000-meters with a 9:14.65 posting. Won his 5K heat at the Iowa State Open in a personal best of 15:53.21. Placed 2nd in the mile at the Buena Vista Open. Qualified for nationals in the marathon by placed 5th in the Midland Half-Marathon with a personal best of 1:13:56. Placed 2nd in the Sioux City Relays 10K race. Won the Concordia (Neb.) Twilight 10K-meters event. Placed 13th in the marathon at the 2012 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships with a time of 2:39:22.
