What kind of a game is the LDD and how do I buy a ticket?
The LDD is a draw game, meaning the winning numbers are drawn daily and at random by a computer. Individuals may purchase LDD tickets by stopping at the athletic office, from any of our student-athletes or at any of our home games by stopping at the promotions counter.
How much money is up for grabs, and how many people are going to win?
An estimated total of $5,710.00 in cash and prizes will be given away during the LDD. A person can win multiple times as their number may be drawn multiple times.
How will prizes be paid?
LDD cash prizes will be paid once a month with payments being sent on the 22nd of each month from the business office. Service or product prizes will be mailed out within three business days of the drawing.
How many LDD tickets will be sold?
A maximum of 10,000 tickets will be sold.
How much do the LDD tickets cost, and where can I buy one?
Each LDD ticket may be purchased for $10 by stopping at the athletic office, from any of our student-athletes or at any of our home games by stopping at the promotions counter.
How will I know if my LDD ticket is a winner?
By matching your LDD number to that displayed on the website at www.dsuathletics.com/ldd . Each LDD ticket will be marked clearly with a number between 1 and 10,000. There is only one number on each ticket, so if you purchase five tickets, you will receive five separate numbers.
How will the winning tickets be announced?
All winning numbers will be available on www.dsuathletics.com/ldd after 9am the following day
My lucky number is 42. Can I choose to buy 42?
Unfortunately no, since only one person can have any given numbered LDD number, it is not possible for players to select their own numbers for this drawing.
How many LDD tickets can I buy?
You may purchase as many LDD numbers as you choose.
What do I do if I have a winning LDD ticket?
If you find out after the drawing that you have a winning ticket, congratulations! LDD winners will be contacted via e-mail or phone, within three business days about their prize.
