Lanoue Honored by DAC as Libero of the Week

(Madison, SD) - For the second time this season, the Dakota Athletic Conference has selected Laura Lanoue as the DAC’s Libero of the Week. For the week, Lanoue had 59 digs (7.38 digs per game) and three service aces (0.38 aces per game) with a .950 serve percentage. In addition, Lanoue had a .885 reception percentage as the Trojans split a pair of conference road matches.

According to the DakStats NAIA statistical website, Lanoue is 7th in the nation in digs per game, 6.4 digs per game. She is third in the DAC Conference in digs category. Lanoue is currently third in the Trojan Volleyball Record Book for career digs with 1845 digs.

Laura is the daughter of Greg and Karen Lanoue of Tracy, MN and is Accounting/Finance major at Dakota State University.

The Trojans (4-11) return home Tuesday, September 30th, as they host in-state rival Dakota Wesleyan at 7:00 pm. Dakota State will return to DAC Conference action this weekend as they host South Dakota School of Mines on Friday, October 3rd at 7:00 pm, and Black Hills State on Saturday, October 4th, at 3:00 pm at Memorial Fieldhouse.
