DAC Conference Weekly Rankings Remain Unchanged
(Madison, SD) - In the sixth weekly conference rankings released on Monday, October 13th, Dakota State women's cross country team remains in third place with the men's team in fourth place.
The Trojan women's cross country team placed fifth with 79 points at the Briar Cliff Invitational last Saturday, October 11th. Four Trojans placed in the top 20 at the meet - Kari Schaefer 6th; Stephanie Warnke - 9th; Samantha Warnke - 15th; and Clarice Bauer - 19th.
On the men's side, the Trojans placed fourth out of 12 teams at the Briar Cliff Invitational. DAC's Male Cross Country Runner of the Week Tyler Van Peursem placed second at the meet. In addition, Anthony Drealan placed sixth, Andrew Manning finished 30th, and Matt Fideler placed 31st.
Dakota State will be idle this week and returns back to action on Saturday, October 25th as they compete in the Graphic Edge Invitational in Vermillion, SD. The women's race will begin at 10:00 am with the men's to follow.
