Berg and Stahl named to DAC Football Players of the Week

Stacey BergThe Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) has selected Dakota State's Stacey Berg and Brandon Stahl for DAC Football players of the week Monday.

Berg was named DAC Offensive Player of the Week.  He had six receptions for 109 yards and two touchdowns as the Trojans rallied to defeat Mayville State, 31-27, at the Dacotah Bank DAC Bowl Sunday.  Berg also recorded a 31-yard field goal, scored a two-point conversion and made two PAT extra points.  Stacey is the son of Kevin and Melissa Berg of Winslow, Ariz.  He is a freshman Business Management major at Dakota State University.

Brandon StahlFor the second time this season, Stahl was honored as DAC Defensive Player of the Week.  He had three tackles for a loss of 34 yards, including a quarterback sack for a loss of 24 yards.  Stahl also recorded a blocked punt in the game.  Overall, Stahl had three solo tackles and six assists.  Brandon is the son of Alan and Cathy Stahl of Hitchcock, S.D.  He is a senior Exercise Science major at Dakota State University.
