Six Trojans earn DAC Football All-Conference honors

The Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) has announced the football All-Conference teams Monday. Two Trojans had been selected to DAC All-Conference second team and four DSU players were named to DAC All-Conference honorable mention.
Ryan Poss was named to second team All-Conference offense lineman. He was the lone senior offensive lineman for the Trojans. Poss was one of the two offensive linemen that have played in every snap in all Trojans' nine games this season. He was the team captain for the Trojan football team and is a true team player. Ryan is the son of Barb Poss-Christian of Lennox, S.D. He is a senior Exercise Science major at Dakota State University.
Joe Whealy earned second team All-Conference linebacker. He recorded 84 tackles in eight games as a linebacker. Whealy had three interceptions and returned for a total of 42 yards. Joe is the son of Mark and Lisa Whealy of Madison, S.D. He is a junior Exercise Science major at Dakota State University.
Four Trojan football players received DAC All-Conference Honorable Mention. They are with positions in parenthesis: Drew Allen (RB), Marshall Doeden (OL), Brandon Stahl (DE) and Bryce Logan (CB).
